"He opened his door, making the dome light in the truck come on. Now I could see exactly what the small package he'd handed me was, and my face immediately burst into absolute flames. I knew what the little object inside the plastic wrapper was. I just couldn't believe that I was meant to put it on. I also couldn't believe that I didn't even have a choice about the matter. I looked at the small plastic-wrapped object I held in my hand, the object Chase had given me. I looked at it, stared at it, but I just could not believe what it was. However, at the same time, I could believe it, because I knew damn well, what it was, and there was no denying it. Even in the dim light of evening, I could see through the clear plastic to the object inside the small package clearly, because of the dome light that had come on when Chase had opened his door. I could see just exactly what the object I held in my hand was. And this seeing, this knowing exactly what it was intended for, what it was intended to do, was making my face flame hotter than I'd ever felt it burn before in my life."I'm not sure wether it's the author or the editor that lets this run around happen all through the book but it's nerve racking for me. I didn't get to know who Rowan is because all she does is fret about her deceit over an over. She didn't really talk about herself otherwise or about the possible discussion she may have had with Chase and Grayson between their baby-making sessions. Most of the time they were "working". So how they fell in love with each other is beyond me. An not having a man take the time to actually make love to me just use toys on me while he stood there waiting till I was so aroused was lame, I felt like she really was just a breeder an cum dumpster. The ending really surprised me I truly didn't see that coming. I couldn't figure out how an why there was a fertile female auction. Was the town begin protected by the wolves? Are women just slaves regardless who they are born from? Where did the auction money go to? I'm clueless. Outside of the 3 main characters I did like the story. Hunter an Lily, Sky an Brady. The Village an the "Work" our Alphas do but I'm leery as to wether I'll read another book from Ms Rain or not. Alpha Island sounds interesting but if it's run around sentences I'm done.

Sold To The Alphas The SOLD Series Book 3 edition by Amira Rain Simply Shifters Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews
I read this book and started hating the characters as it seem they were gonna.fall into the we can all live each other and be carefree for all of our days story line......BOY was I wrong by the end of the.book I loved them so much they are so well written and intertwined with the whole plot that I didn't want to have it end. There were plots inside of plots. Characters inside of the actual characters that you don't realize till the end of the book. The men turned out to be totally different then I thought and even though I thought I had the book figured out by 3/4 of the way through wham the end of the book comes and.your left like Wow I didn't see that coming
I only gave this 3 stars because * Spoiler * I have a problem with the heroine deceiving the hero(s), her friend Rose, and later even her sister, of her pregnancy conceiving diagnosis switch, and then keep rationalizing all most all the way through this story why she doesn't have to come clean. Of course, since this is a romance you know that everything works out in the end, but the anxiety ruined the enjoyment of the story for me. I felt that since she was a liar by omission, she wasn't worthy of her two alpha's love, until the truth came out. That said, the rest of the story was well written, and kept my interest all the way through. I really enjoyed the first book "Sold to the Dragons", so I will probably get the third book "Sold to the Bears" too.
No- just no! The writing was terrible as the author reiterated everything she said in the very next paragraph and page after page, the repetition just about killed me. I kept reading because I thought it maybe a HEA for all three but sadly it wasn't. I didn't like the story and I couldn't connect with any of the characters because the story moved too quickly and glossed over the getting to know you stage, the falling in love. This is a big fail for me but I do believe that, had there been more development and a half decent editor, it potentially may have been a series worth reading.
I wrestled with whether I should buy this book or not. I was not familiar with this author and I have become leery of self-pub books. The high number of 5-star ratings convinced me to at least see what the fuss wa about. I liked the overall storyline. I wasn't bothered by her deception. Her deception was the major "tension" in the book. It was a decent read, but certainly not in the category of "I couldn't put it down." As with many self-pub books, there were editing and grammatical issues, but not so many that it was distracting. I didn't give the book 5 stars because to me, there were elements of the story that just didn't hang together. I'm not sure why the story included the "seer." The packs led by the 2 alphas were surrounded by rogue werewolves who they were constantly fighting, so why the sudden decision to move the pack? What changed? Why were their living conditions so primitive? Why would a woma, any woman, Chase what she thinks is a mal wolf only holding a rock and believe that is a fight she thinks she can win? I'm not sure why her sister needed to be kidnapped unless it was just to reunite them. In summary, I liked the storyline better than I liked the story.
I skimmed through 90% of the book. The heroine spends about that much of the book dwelling on her guilt and that got way old, way fast.
Then you have the fact that the sex scenes are non existent. I don't know about anyone else but when you're looking at a menage romance you not only expect some steamy sex but you expect actual romance. This had neither.
And the final nail in the coffin is that the characters aren't even one dimensional. There's no fleshing out so you never get to know them or like them. If you don't fall in love with the characters then how are you going to love the book enough to get another in the series?
Then there's the end. I won't spoil it but after forcing myself to finish the book there was absolutely no payoff. I have absolutely no intention of reading anything else in this series.
